Urinary Tract Infection and Inflammation Clinic
Infectious diseases caused by bacteria invading the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate, testicles, and urethra, and inflammatory diseases caused by aging, stress, and chronic external stimuli, are called "urinary genital infectious diseases." Uroliferative infectious diseases are pain, so they cause urination disorders, causing inconvenience in daily life, and often show frequent recurrences and chronic progress, reducing the quality of life. Typical diseases include bladder inflammation, a fatal disease of women for thousands of years, and prostate inflammation, which modern men experience at least once in their lifetime.
Bladder inflammation is common in women in their 30s and 40s who are active in sexual life and repeat pregnancy and childbirth, but it occurs frequently in their teens and 20s, and the frequency of occurrence increases sharply after menopause. In general, 50% of all women experience at least once in their lifetime symptoms of cystitis. Symptoms include frequent urination, pain in the lower abdomen, burning pain in the urethra when urinating, and in severe cases, hematuria. The most common causative bacteria are E. coli, which is mixed in feces and discharged into the anus, and are closely related to bowel and urination habits and pelvic hygiene.
Prostate inflammation is common in men in their 20s and 40s and mainly has a form of non-bacterial chronic night terrors. It is closely related to modern people's lifestyles such as drinking, smoking, stress, and lack of exercise. It shows various pain, urination disorders, and sexual dysfunction in the pelvis, including the perineum. It is a disease that requires long-term treatment, lifestyle correction, and continuous follow-up, and if not properly managed, it may fail to adapt to social life and fall into depression due to frequent recurrences.
The kidneys, which are essential organs for maintaining the body, play an important role in making urine by filtering waste from the blood. Pyelonephritis, caused by bacteria invading the kidneys, is an acute disease that causes severe pain and high fever in the sides, accompanied by nausea and vomiting. It is a disease that requires first aid because if proper antibiotic treatment is not performed early, it can lead to systemic sepsis and threaten life.
In addition, there are testicular inflammation, epididymal infections, known as sexually transmitted diseases, and urethral infections that often occur in men in adolescence, all require accurate diagnosis and proper treatment in the early stages, otherwise they can progress to chronic or leave serious aftereffects.
